Easter used to be my favorite holiday–mainly because of the candy (Hello Peeps!) but it’s sort of lost its luster. Probably because I’m slowly getting to the age where it’s not cool to still get Easter baskets–although Mom if you’re reading this I still expect one on Sunday. We also make these things called Pear Bunnies. Anyone else do that? I’ll take a picture on Sunday to show you if you haven’t a foggiest idea at all what I’m talking about. They’re so simple but so FUN (and lame at the same time).

I didn’t color eggs yet this year. I must do that because it is something I really enjoy. I can’t eat chocolate anymore (diabetic) so the candy part has totally lost it’s charm.
are you OK? i keep seeing things on the news about fires, and being a so cal person we understand fires… i just hope you and yours are all OK
