The winner has been picked! The winner is #51 Steph. Thanks everyone for entering!
Once in a lifetime something amazing happened. This weekend that moment happened.
More exciting than my wedding day and I can imagine more exciting than the day I give birth.
This weekend my pups, Lexi and Sadie, were on the front page of PEOPLEpets!

Do you recognize those little ballerinas? That’s right–front page, big and beautiful! Luckily the tutus are covering up their trouble areas.

There’s the actual captioned picture. They are STARS. Finally, they’re getting the recognition they deserve.
Oh what’s that?

Who’s that below a brooding LC and a gloomy Kristin? Yeah that’s right. Sadie was on the front page of PEOPLE! (The website, not the magazine, Jesse James and Sandra B. ruined that one for us this week)
To celebrate this shining moment in my life I thought I’d do a giveaway.
Who wants a $50 Apple giftcard? (Please note: The Apple giftcard is only valid on Apple’s website or in an Apple store. It cannot be used on Itunes) How about a $25 Itunes giftcard to go along with that?
One person will win both!
Here’s how to enter.
Answer this question in the comments:
What is the most exciting thing to ever happen to you?
Did you meet a celebrity? Lose twenty pounds? Or something as simple as getting out bed?
- For an additional entry you can follow me on Twitter . If you’re already following me let me know.
- For an additional entry Retweet about the contest and come back here and let me know you retweeted. If you don’t have twitter and want to blog about it just put a link to that blog post in the comments. But you can only do one or the other. Not both.
So you can have a total of three entries per person. Be sure and leave a valid email address or blog address so I can get ahold of you if you win!
This contest will go through Friday April 2, 2010 at midnight central time. Time is up! Winner will be announced sometime in the next 24 hours! Winner will be picked randomly and announced sometime this upcoming weekend. Due to the giftcard restrictions this giveaway is open only to US residents. (Sorry international folks.)
Oh and Apple doesn’t know who I am. But they may know who my pups are thanks to People.
Hi Everybody! I'm Angela. I love my dogs, adore my husband and try to make the best out of everyday!

I hate to admit it, but nothing very exciting goes on around me. But last fall I entered a photo contest for our local balloon glow and I won – got $100 worth of groceries out of it too. Not too shabby.
Holy crap, Lexi and Sadie are totally famous!! That. Is. AWESOME!!! Now that “The Hills” is getting canceled, MTV is totally going to call and offer Lexi and Sadie their own show. You just have to decide if you’re ready for that kind of exposure. I bet you get to keep the clothes, though.
Awesome giveaway!!! Off to tweet.

Zoiks! I forgot to answer the question. So add this comment to my first comment.
Umm.. nothing exciting EVER happens to me. The only time I’ve ever won anything is when my husband and I won some concert tickets last year… but actually my husband was the one who put our name in the bucket, so really I guess *he* won that. One time in college on the way to class I found a $20 bill on the ground. That was pretty sweet. OH! And I saw Richard Simmons in the Philly airport. My life is a big pile of thrills.
The most exciting thing that happend for me was when my team beat OU last year. It was awesome!
Well, IF my pups had ever appeared on People, as yours have, then that WOULD have been my most exciting thing. But since Cocoa and Mocha prefer to appear in the pantry, drooling for treats, I have to choose another exciting moment from my not-very-exciting life.
Sorry for the high sap factor here, but the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me, judging by vital signs like heart rate, perspiration, etc. was…falling in love with the man I’m currently married to. Yep, that’s it. *sigh* (First time skydiving runs a close second!)
That’s so fun, Angela! They are too cute!
Most exciting thing….
Other than the typical marriage, baby stuff, I guess I would have to say when I went bungee jumping in Vienna. At least it was the most thrilling.
I won a $100 visa card. That was pretty exciting. How sad is that? Actually, that means if I win, this would be one of the most exciting things to ever happen to me.
(of course babies too. that was pretty exciting. oh, and my husband has coached 4 state championship games and won…THAT is actually REALLY exciting)
also, you know i follow on twitter……
The most exciting thing recently has been winning $1000 to Ikea last December! I graduated college the next day. It was a great week.
Spending the money was pretty exciting. Putting together 23819024387 parts to make a bookshelf, dresser and desk…not so exciting!
retweeted you this morning.
also following you.
The most exciting thing so far was when the company I was working for invited me to a party for all the hard work we had all been doing. They were having raffles for different prizes etc. The last prize was a nano ipod. I kept thinking to myself “Let it be me let it be me!” Then they read off the ticket number and it was ME!!! I was SO excited because I never win anything and it was my 1st time not to mention the fact that I almost wasn’t invited but was! I also won a cake that day too. So exciting!! lol
I am a reference librarian in SD. I was contacted by an author (who happens to be my favorite author), Carolyn Haines who wanted some information on our state for a book she was writing. We worked together for quite a while and to thank me she used me as a character in one of her books. I was a reference librarian in Costa Rica! It was a blast!
How about giving birth with a celebrity present? June 1st baby!! That’s happening to me. I happen to be related to the celebrity though. I’m not going to drop any names. I’m not *that* girl.
That is so awesome!!! They totally deserve to be there
I’ve never had anything like that happen to me… but the most recent, exciting thing is the birth of my baby boy, now 6 weeks old!
I follow on twitter.
that’s a hard one…..the most exciting moment that comes to mind is camel-back riding in a desert in China
Angela,
I saw this yesterday and it was a deja vu moment!!! I was so happy for you and simultaneously so excited to have seen this photo in your original post. Clearly all of us following you are so hip we knew about you and the photo even before People Magazine!!! Congratulations.
I made Matt Damon laugh. He was in town screening The Bourne Identity to raise money for a local hospital that cares for children who can’t be cared for at home. Anyway, I met him, we chatted, sparks flew and long story short….I made him laugh. I will remember that moment forever.
Congrats to Sadie and Lexi. They totally deserve it!
getting engaged was the most exciting moment…but then marriage has been even better!
I recently won an Amazon gift card – that was fun!
Getting a new car after having an old clunker for a long time was really exciting!
I met my new baby cousin last month!

I am so excited for Lexi and Sadi! And they are wearing something from my dog line…. hahhha. Let me know if they need any new outfits for any more photo shoots but I understand if they have gotten to big for me.
I ran into Dolly Parton a few weeks ago! It definitely tops my recent list of excitement & there were soo many sparkles!
Wow, I am a nurse, and I’ve cared for some famous people. But stupid HIPPA keeps me from saying who!!
Most exciting thing was probably my whole honeymoon trip to England! Best Trip ever!

I would have to say my wedding day!
The most exciting thing to happen in my life was far more than I ever expected to happen in my life. In 2007 my husband and I adopted a little boy from Kazakhstan. We traveled half way around the world, spent three weeks in our son’s birth country and most exciting of all… we welcomed an amazing little boy into our family.

The most exciting moment for me so far was the moment my fiance proposed to me. Just a few more months and then I think the most exciting moment will be when I say “I do.”
One of the most exciting times I can remember is when my parents said that my mom was preagnant with my 6th sibling.I could hardly sleep that night.
Most exciting has probably been seeing John Stewart. Love the Daily Show!
I guess my most exciting brush with a celebrity would be meeting and getting a photo with Tommy Lee Jones.
my dogs are hella jealous of your famous pooches!
hmmmm the most exciting thing that happened to me…why is this question so hard?! I guess the eye twitching stress of buying a house
The most exciting thing? Really, it’s winning contests. Every time I win something I freak out. In a good way. So I guess that’s not THE most exciting thing but an ARRAY of most exciting things.

Thanks for the giveaway!
Most exciting thing was getting married and starting this fun and crazy life!!
I was able to lose about 20 pounds in several months after having 5 children. I’m smaller now than I was in high school!!!
Hmm I think the most exciting thing to happen to me was when I was working on a congressional campaign last presidential election and I got to meet all the candidates/other famous people that came to the area to campaign. It made the long hours and low pay a little more worth it!
The most exciting thing that happened to me was when I was like in 6th grade. My dad’s company was in charge of the garbage cleanup the Michael Jordan Golf Outing. I got to meet a TON of athletes and celebrities.
It was so much fun!!!! Michael Jordan was like 50 feet away from us!

Most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me is when my fiance asked me to marry him. Eventually that will be replaced by the wedding but since we are still working on that I have to pick the proposal.
Congrats on your dogs making the front page!
I can’t think of anything too exciting that has happened to me before–although once I did win Kenny Chesney Tickets and one Christmas my lottery ticket did win $500!!!
It’s probably exciting only to me but I had a song written for me. Exciting in a way but it’s really kind of a bitter-sweet thing. My husband passed away 3 years ago and he had been a commercial fisherman in Alaska & loved boats and the water all his life. After he retired from fishing, he worked at a local marina.
One of the young ladies he worked with belongs to a Celtic musical group and she & her husband wrote a song about a ship that struggles through a storm to get her crew home safely. She said she was inspired by Pat’s love of the sea and my struggle with my grief-having lost my mate of 42 years. She named the ship- and the song- Beverly Anne. It’s beautifully written and rendered and I love sharing it. http://bards.lendral.com/music-album.html
The most exciting thing to happen to me was marrying the man of my dreams. This August we will have been married for 20 years! And I still feel the same way I felt when I married him. I am a very blessed woman.
Hmmm, most exciting thing to ever happen to me?? Winning this giveaway?!? Just kidding. Probably becomming a Christian.

I was on Oprah once. I got a last minute reservation to Oprah (I live in Chicago) and ended up being 1 of 100 people inside of a bubble in order to break a world record for one segment of the show. Completely random, but definitely exciting!
