Once upon a time there was a dainty little, roly-poly puppy named Lexi.

She began to grow and grow into a cute little toddler-dog.

Another couple of months went by and she grew into her adult sized body.

There was a problem though. She kept growing and growing and growing and growing. Instead of growing longer and taller she grew outwards and sideways.

Now she can barely strain her neck to look over her shoulder.

The end.

Also, the end of her eating anything she wants days. This pooch is on a diet! And it’s the most pathetic thing you’ve ever seen.
If you don’t hear from me, I’m doing some therapy for a dog who’s addicted to food. We’re kindred spirits in that way.
Hi Everybody! I'm Angela. I love my dogs, adore my husband and try to make the best out of everyday!

Poor puppy!!!! I can relate. My shit zu/maltese was almost 25lbs when we had to put him down at 12yrs old. Now we didn’t have to put him down because of his weight, didn’t want to scare you.
But every time we went to the vet they would scold me like it was my fault. That dog would eat anything he could get his paws on. We tried the diet thing and it worked for awhile but it never lasted.
I hope Lexi fares better!!!
She’s still absolutely adorable!!!
We had to put our Bichon on a diet when she hit 26 pounds. She was one miserable pup for a few weeks, but she did drop 3 pounds really quick. Hopefully, Lexi will lose those extra pounds quickly.
HAHAHAH! omg! i can relate to the love of food- for sure. roly-poly me and roly-poly lexi are sharing the same therapy!
Wow, looks like its time for a Jenny Dawg program. R/D by Prescriptives has helped our weight sensitive issues. I hope they’re not listening. Great photos and post!!!
i’m trying to slim down my beagle. not easy. i’ve taken away the all day food buffet, but i can’t really get him to do anything but lay on the couch.
i guess being hungry is exhausting.
